Are going to come and talk to us and answer our questions.
They have agreed to come out on a cold night to give us a half term report on the boys and explain some of the subtleties and tactics we use.
All members of the Supporters Club and U16s are invited along free of charge, with non members paying £7
If you want to come along please email
events@salesupporters.co.uk
Armed with our new knowledge and understanding no doubt you'll want to go to see it in action at Gloucester on Sunday 28th Jan, just before our break from important matches for the 6 nations.
We are running a Funbus there and back with all the stops and full details on the website
www.salesupporters.co.uk
with links to book and pay. Costs are £25 for SSSC members, £32 non-members and U16s £10.
We are supporters, we support our team. It's cold and wet out there for them and despite them trying and working their socks off things have not gone brilliantly the last couple of matches. Let's try
and do the little bit we can and raise their spirits by showing our support and making sure they know we are behind them. Let the opposition know they are playing them and
us.
Come on you SHARKS!!

Can we run a FUNBUS to Quins on Sun 8th January?
Costs we are quoted are higher this year and we are struggling to justify running a bus to London fixtures. With trains
being approx £100 and questionable if they will run, a local pickup and drop off at the stadium whilst travelling with other Sale fans on a FUN bus sounds so appealing doesn't it. If you are
interested please let us know urgently on funbus@salesupporters.co.uk. Depending on numbers the likely cost
may be around £50 members and £60 non-members.
Membership of the supporters club runs from Oct 1st for a year for just £12 and gives priority booking at events, and
discounted prices as above. The monies raised are mainly used to support the Academy and the future of our club as well as trying to support other local rugby related causes that seem appropriate
when discussed. Last year we donated £6,000.00 to the Academy helping to fund the team bus and their hardship fund. Why not join and enjoy great events cheaply whilst helping the club? This link
takes you to the appropriate page of the website https://www.salesupporters.co.uk/sssc-membership/
We also run a 201 club where for £5 per month you are entered into a monthly draw for prizes of £100, £80 and
£60.
The link is https://www.salesupporters.co.uk/201-club/
As with membership fees all monies raised go to helping rugby with no payments to any of the
committee.
September 2022
Welcome to the first Newsletter of the new season.
First of all we now have a date for the Annual General Meeting: Monday 17th October.
The meeting will be at Heywood Road at 19.30 and we would really like you to come along. Two of the stalwarts of the committee are retiring, Dee Rowan (who has been our secretary for so so long) and Sue Lees (our treasurer for a very long time) and we thank them for their efforts and inputs over the years. New members to the committee would be very welcome and are needed so that we have a greater number to come up with ideas and share the workload. We meet once a month normally, with meetings generally lasting about an hour. The only qualification needed is a wish to help support Sale Sharks and encourage others, enabling more interaction between club and supporters. We have a new treasurer Dean Styger who has taken over from Sue but a new secretary is needed - could you fill that post? If anyone is interested in knowing more please come and see us at the Sharkee before or after a home game, look for the table with a Supporters Club banner next to it. To be able to vote at the AGM you need to be a presently paid up member so make sure any new members join on 1st October to be eligible.
One of the longstanding offers from the Supporters Club is the Funbus to various away fixtures. A great way to get to and from the match with convivial fellow Sale fans. This year we are committed to running a bus to Leicester Tigers and Worcester Warriors (depending on whether the game will go ahead!). We also want to run buses to Wasps, Northampton and Gloucester but are waiting to see the exact dates and times - if a Friday or a Bank Holiday then it will be very unlikely due to costs or probable uptake. These are buses that are run with the intention of breaking even, not making a profit, and are cheaper for members of SSSC.
The main aim of the SSSC is to enhance the club / supporter experience and also to raise funds to support the Academy and other rugby related charities. The support that is given can make a big difference and this year SSSC gave a cheque to the Academy for £6,000 at their first match of the season. This is the response from Fergus (the Academy manager)
